Continutation of the Timing Step
The launching phase takes us from the end of the loading phase to the contact point with the ball and it consists of 5 noticeable movements:
1 – Continuation of the timing step
2 – Opening of the hips
3 – Forward rotation of the spine
4 – Pushing and pulling action of the arms and shoulders
5 – Guiding action of the hands on the bat
In this video, we are going to talk about the first noticeable movement in the launching phase, and that is, the continuation of the timing step, and identify the muscles in involved with this motion.
