Backward Movement of Shoulders and Arms
The loading phase of the baseball swing takes us from the stance position to the launching position and it consist of five noticeable movements, the backward movement of the shoulders and arms, the backward rotation of the spine, the beginning of the timing step, the cocking of the hips, and the cocking of the wrist. In this video we are going to talk about the backward movement of the shoulders and arms, and identify the muscles involved with this motion.
